Army Spc. Jonathan Bertrand, a 2011 graduate of Peters Township High School, and Army Spc. Morgan A. Hughes, a 2013 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School, have been deployed overseas in support of Atlantic Resolve. Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to collective security through a series of actions designed to reassure NATO allies and partners of America’s dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region in light of the Russian intervention in Ukraine. Since April 2014, Army Europe has led land forces efforts on behalf of the U.S. military by conducting continuous, enhanced multinational training and security cooperation activities with allies and partners in eastern Europe.
U.S. Air Force Airman Dillon D. Richey graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Richey is a 2016 graduate of McGuffey High School, and his parents are James and Carol Richey of Washington.
U.S. Air Force Airman Jeremy M. Stewart graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Stewart is a 2015 graduate of Pemberton Township High School in Pemberton, N.J., and his parents are Chad M. and Karen E. Stewart of Finleyville.
