Flanigan – 50 years

James and Ellen Flanigan of Claysville will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at First United Methodist Church, East Beau and North College streets, Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Flanigan were married March 17, 1967, in West Washington United Methodist Church.

Both are retired teachers. Mrs. Flanigan taught math at Peters Township High School, and Mr. Flanigan taught English at McGuffey High School.
