Joy and Bob Stark of East Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna, to Anthony Fiore, son of Stephanie Fiore of Frederick, Md., and Michael Fiore of Ormond Beach, Fla.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Washington High School and a 2009 graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in international hotel and tourism management. She works as a food and beverage manager at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Linganore High School in Frederick. He is a credit collection agent with Delta Management Associates in Boston, Mass.

A September 30 wedding is planned at Shady Elms Farm in Hickory.
