Kerns – Hudak
Kayla Hudak and Tyler Kerns were united in marriage September 17, 2016, at Faith United Presbyterian Church, Washington, with the Rev. Jason Hefner officiating the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Scott and Lynn Hudak of Washington. Her grandparents are Betty Bayer of Eighty Four, the late Edward Bayer, Judi Deschenes of Claysville and Kenneth and Michele Hudak of Beverly Hills, Fla.
Parents of the bridegroom are Craig Kerns of Prosperity and Denise Kerns of Bellevue. His grandparents are Edward and Arlene Kerns of Prosperity, the late Rosalie Balius and the late Wayne Frazee.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Maid of honor was Jordan Fowler of Coraopolis. Bridesmaids were Courtney Kerns of Vienna, Ohio, sister of the groom; Kristin Tucci of Pittsburgh; and Karlyn Bayer of Hickory, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Logan McAnany of Claysville. Ushers were Christian Whipkey of Washington, cousin of the groom; Mike Gratz of Prosperity; and Tanner Hudak of Washington, brother of the bride.
Ring bearer was Wyatt Guy, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School, a 2014 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and a 2016 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a master’s degree in communication disorders. She is a speech-language pathologist with Crossroads Speech and Hearing.
Mr. Kerns is a 2010 graduate of McGuffey High School and attended Waynesburg University. He is a foreman for R.A.M.E. Inc. in Washington.
A reception was held at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
The couple honeymooned in Orlando, Fla.
