Greene County Autism Walk on tap
Dustin Damon Casseday Autism Foundation will hold its first Greene County Autism Walk April 8 at Wana B Park in Carmichaels.
Registration will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at noon. A reception will be held at the park pavilion upon the walk’s conclusion. Participants must register by Saturday to guarantee a race day T-shirt. Cost is $20 for ages 13 and older and $10 for ages 5 to 12. Children 4 and younger may participate for free, but will not receive a T-shirt.
A virtual walk option is available for those that wish to support the walk, but are unable to attend the event. Sponsor sheets are also available online at www.ddcafoundation.org. Checks can be made payable to the Dustin Damon Casseday Autism Foundation and mailed to 60 West High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370.
Proceeds from the walk will help provide resources for available services helping families and caregivers cope with the diagnosis of autism.
