Mon Valley to honor seven at Gala 29
Monongahela Valley Hospital’s annual gala in “Rustic Elegance” will be held May 20 in the Wyndham Grand Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.
Gala 29 will celebrate seven exemplary individuals for their commitment to excellence with Dimensions in Performance Awards.
These awards honor the multidimensional talents of friends, benefactors and members of the health care family who have distinguished themselves in the areas of philanthropy, medicine, volunteerism and civic well-being.
Awardees are:
• The Rose Award for Dimensions in Philanthropy – Robert “Archie” and Toni Allridge. This award recognizes members of the community for their benevolence and dedication to the enhancement of quality health care.
• The Sickman-Levin Award for Dimensions in Medicine – Dr. L. Douglas Pepper. The award honors doctors with outstanding contributions to health care in the mid-Monongahela Valley.
• The Rossomme Award for Dimensions in Volunteer Service – Ruth Antonelli. This award recognizes people who tirelessly give of their time and talents in volunteer service to the health system.
• The Gibbons Award for Dimensions in Community Service – Washington County Commissioners Larry Maggi, Diana Irey Vaughan and Harlan G. Shober Jr. This award is given to those who are dedicated to the health, social and civic needs of area residents and help to improve the quality of life
