Cornerstone Genealogical Society of Greene County will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the log cabin courthouse on Greene Street. Shelley Anderson will discuss the history of Carmichaels and the upcoming 250th anniversary of its founding.

Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Amwell Township municipal building. The executive board will meet at 6:15 p.m. Jim Douglas, author and Civil War historian, will present a program on his book, “Born to Serve, The Major A.G. Happer Story.” Happer was from Washington County and fought in many of the Civil War battles.

National Pike chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Faith United Presbyterian Church. Student recognition night will be observed, with Boy Scouts of America Troop 1103 performing the flag ceremony. Bring cookies for a reception.
