Election Day meals
Center Township Fire Hall, Rogersville – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Breakfast menu includes sausage gravy and biscuit, muffins and pastries. Lunch menu includes hot dogs, sloppy joes, ham barbecue sandwiches, macaroni salad, cabbage and noodles, kielbasa and sauerkraut, desserts and drinks. Dinner menu will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. and includes creamed chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, peas, applesauce, dessert and drink. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger. Carryout will be available.
First Church Of God, 157 N. Second St., West Newton – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be soup, salads, sandwiches, beverages and desserts.
Holy Ghost Church, 828 Meadow Avenue, Charleroi – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The menu includes wedding and chicken rice vegetable soup, meatball hoagie, shredded beef sandwich, lima beans and ham hocks, green beans with potato and ham, fruit salad and halupki. Holy Rosary Church, Muse Bishop Road, Muse – noon to 7 p.m. Spaghetti dinner with meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverage will be served. Cost is $9 for a large portion and $7 for a small portion. Takeout will available by calling 724-745-6211. There also will be raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing. The Christian Mothers/Altar Society is sponsoring the event.
Mingo Creek Presbyterian Church – noon to 7 p.m. Spaghetti dinner with meat sauce, salad, bread, drink and choice of dessert. Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children under 12. Takeout will be available by calling 724-348-5278.
