Ambassador for Respect

Representatives from all 14 school districts and an alternative school in Washington County participated in Washington Health System Teen Outreach’s 10th annual Ambassador for Respect program last week at Washington & Jefferson College. Each school district created its own “country,” complete with flag, motto, quote, song, government, officials, resources, budgets, Bill of Rights or constitutions, tax structures and policies. A panel of community leaders responded to each country’s press secretaries. Pictured above are members of Chartiers-Houston’s team, who created the country “Chartown.” Below are members of the panel.
