Representatives from all 14 school districts and an alternative school in Washington County participated in Washington Health System Teen Outreach’s 10th annual Ambassador for Respect program last week at Washington & Jefferson College. Each school district created its own “country,” complete with flag, motto, quote, song, government, officials, resources, budgets, Bill of Rights or constitutions, tax structures and policies. A panel of community leaders responded to each country’s press secretaries. Pictured above are members of Chartiers-Houston’s team, who created the country “Chartown.” Below are members of the panel.
