Bunner – 65 years
Allan and Mary Ann Bunner of Washington celebrated their 65th wedding with a surprise family dinner, hosted by their daughter, Debra Flickinger, on Mother’s Day at Maxwell’s Restaurant at the Doubletree Hotel, Racetrack Road, Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Bunner were married on May 18, 1952, at West Washington United Methodist Church.
They are the parents of four children, twin daughters, Debra (Tom) Flickinger and Denise (Dave) LaSota, and Jeffrey (Renea) Bunner, all of Washington, and Matthew (the late Kim) Bunner of Canonsburg.
They have nine grandchildren, Christopher and Jonathan Flickinger, Emily and Kylie LaSota, Tricia Bryker, Jacob and Michelle Bunner and Haylee and Cameron Bunner, and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bunner is a veteran of the Korean War and a former city councilman and business consultant. He retired from Fairmont Supply Co. after 33 years of service.
Mrs. Bunner is a homemaker.
High school sweethearts from Washington High Class of 1950, both love politics and remain active with their children and grandchildren.
The couple are planning a summer vacation/anniversary trip to Niagara Falls and Canada.
