Arthur – 100 years
Daisy Mae Arthur will celebrate her 100th birthday Saturday at VFW Post 4793 in Waynesburg. She currently resides with her daughter, Delores, in Waynesburg.
She was born May 20, 1917, in Greene County.
Her husband is the late Albert Theodore Arthur.
She has four children, Robert Arthur, Delores Henry, William Arthur and the late Samuel James Arthur.
She has 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Arthur spent her life as a homemaker, caring for her family and cats. She loved embroidery and making quilts. One of her many life quotes is “I wanna live to see 100, then I don’t care what happens.”
