Fort Cherry to graduate 73
Fort Cherry High School will graduate 73 seniors at commencement exercises at 7 p.m. June 2 at the school’s gymnasium.
Calvin Joseph Lodge is the valedictorian and Bailey Alexandra Griffith is the salutatorian.
Lodge, the son of Chris and Cathy Lodge of Bulger, is a member of the National Honor Society and president of the stage. He also received the President’s Award.
He has worked at the Fort Cherry Gold Course and Simmons Hickory Farm. Lodge will be attending the University of Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in chemistry.
Griffith, the daughter of Karen Smith of Oakdale and Doug Griffith of McDonald, is the yearbook editor and a two-year letterman on the softball team. She received the Titan Scholarship and Jerb Miller Scholarship from Westminster College.
Griffith has volunteered at the Beaver County Humane Society and has coached youth softball. She has worked at Country Meadows Retirement Home as a dining associate. Griffith will attend Westminster College to pursue a degree in psychology and will be a member of the softball team.
