Connect receives grants
Shelley Walker, director of finance and administration of United Way of Washington County, presents a check for $34,851 to Bill Leach, director of Connect Inc., an affiliate of Southwestern PA Human Services. The donation represents two Community Impact grants awarded to Connect to support services for the homeless in Washington County. Connect operates two local shelters, Family Shelter for homeless families and Crossing Point for homeless men.
