Did you know if you can help someone an hour or two a week or even a month, you can make an impact and a difference in a person’s life? Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers who are ready to help with the following senior citizens or individuals with disabilities who would like to remain independent:

• A Wolfdale-area senior woman needs help with rides to and from downtown Washington Tuesday through Friday for about six weeks in November and December when she will have a cast.
• A Houston woman needs a volunteer to assist with taking her laundry to be done at a local laundromat.
• A Prosperity-area senior man needs help with filing medical and insurance papers, sorting through items to sell online and other clerical duties.
• A Washington senior woman with Parkinson’s needs someone to run errands and go to the grocery store for her.
• A Washington-area woman needs assistance reviewing medical and insurance papers and filing.
