Waynesburg University’s Department of Fine Arts will showcase a collection of student artwork Monday through Dec. 8. The art show, which includes drawings, functional ceramic pieces, jewelry, prints and sculptures, will be held in the Benedum Fine Arts Gallery and opens with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Peters Township is once again participating with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in collecting Toys for Tots this holiday season. New, unwrapped gifts for children from infancy to 14 years of age may be placed in the collection boxes anytime through Dec. 8. Collection boxes are located at the Peters Township Community Recreation Center and Peters Township Public Library.
