Military veterans are invited to Country Meadows of South Hills for a Pearl Harbor Day remembrance luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 7. Eldred WWII Museum Director SFC Steven Appleby, U.S. Army (retired), will discuss the significance of the events that took place at Pearl Harbor 76 years ago. Seating is limited, and guests are asked to RSVP to Erika Seibel at 412-257-2855. The event will be held in Building III on the Country Meadows campus, 3580 Washington Pike, Bridgeville.

The Beallsville Civic Center, 82 South St., Beallsville, will hold a dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday. There will be line dancing, oldies and slow dances. Sandwiches and baked good will be available for purchase; BYOB. Cost is $10. For information, call 724-632-5904.
