Comedy show aids first responders fund

Comedy for a Cause fundraiser to benefit the Washington County First Responders Memorial Fund and Western Pennsylvania Police Benevolent Foundation will be held Oct. 14 at the Pepsi Cola Roadhouse in Burgettstown.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 and the show at 8.

Pat Godwin, who has appeared on “Last Comic Standing” and “The Howard Stern Show,” is the headliner. Also appearing are Mike Wysocki and David Kaye, who has appeared on “Comedy Central.”

There also will be a 50/50 raffle, a gift-basket auction and T-shirt sales. Cost is $37.50 per person and includes dinner buffet and soft drinks. Those who attend must be 21 and older.
