HealthPLEX Imaging and Rostraver Imaging use digital diagnostic equipment to provide sharp images. HealthPLEX Imaging offers bone density, 3-D mammography, ultrasound and X-ray. At Rostraver Imaging, diagnostic services include CT-scan, MRI, ultrasound and X-ray. The group is designed to help family members, friends and caregivers of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Advanced Carbohydrate Counting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Topics include how to track effects of carbohydrates and blood sugar, glycemic index and how to read food nutrition labels. Innovations in Spinal Stenosis will be presented by Dr. Eric Nabors at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital.

Managing Your Diabetes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 17-19 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital.

Blood drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The blood drive is being held in conjunction with the American Red Cross to benefit local patients. Free parking will be available.
