Bedner Farm and Greenhouse, McDonald, has brought back its annual Fall Fest. Pick a pumpkin from the patch and navigate through a two-acre corn maze. There also is face painting, balloon art, hayrides, zipline, pumpkin launch and live music by accordionist Pat Septak. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until Halloween. Save-A-Horse Stable is holding its second annual open house fundraiser Sunday at its farm near in Center Township. There will be hayride tours, games, food and entertainment during the open house from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the property located at 165 Lightner Run Road near Rogersville. Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a Needle and Yarn Craft Workshop at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the park office at Mingo Creek County Park. The project is a wine glass candleholder. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring an extra wine glass to make a second candleholder. Fee is $3. Registration is required; call the Washington County Parks Office at 724-228-6867.
