Ninth annual MGA Pooch Parade on tap
The Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania invites all dog lovers to the ninth annual MGA Pooch Parade at 9 a.m. on Oct. 29 in South Park.
The family-friendly event features a one-mile fun walk on a paved trail, beginning at the dog park. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the “Pooch Parade” begins at 10 a.m.
All registered participants will receive morning refreshments, a goody bag, T-shirt and a bandana for their dog.
Walkers without dogs and virtual walkers are welcome to participate.
There will be a costume contest with prizes, Halloween candy, face painting, raffles of gift baskets, silent auctions and vendors.
Participants are asked to bring a donation of pet food for the South Hills Interfaith Movement food pantry.
