Canonsburg Hospital hosts Halloween trail

Allegheny Health Network’s Canonsburg Hospital will host their annual Halloween trail from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday on the hospital’s outdoor trail.
Children ages 12 and younger are invited to wear their costumes and trick or treat along the trail. With more than 20 stops along the way, the kids will encounter “haunted hosts” from Canonsburg Hospital, as well as representatives from local businesses and the military, who will distribute treats while decked out in some well-known Halloween costumes.
“Our annual event is a highlight of the Halloween season for local kids and families,” said Angela Costa, vice president of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, Canonsburg Hospital. “For more than 25 years, it has been bringing the community together in a fun, memorable way, and the hospital staff always gets a treat out of seeing the kids all dressed up.”
The event is free, and complimentary parking is available. Treats, bags and candy will be provided, and fidget spinners will be distributed.
In the event of inclement weather, the Halloween trail will be held inside Canonsburg Hospital.
