Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Tanner Jones and Jesse Wolfe as students of the month for April.

Son of Demarie and Shawn Jones of Jefferson, Jones is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School. He is enrolled in the Building Construction Operations at Greene County Career and Technical Center.

He is a member of J-M Marching Band, concert band and the football team. He is the recipient of an academic excellence award. He has also received a perfect attendance award, and he was named student of the quarter.

Jones plans to Pittsburgh Technical College to enter the Welding Technology Program.

A son of Jennifer and Jon Wolfe of Waynesburg, Wolfe is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School.

Wolfe is a member of Greene County 4-H Shotgun Club, Hunting Hills Sporting Clays tea, and Titanium Titans Robotics team. He participated in the Paper Clover Campaign for 4-H sponsored by Tractor Supply and as a Boy Scout he volunteered for Scouting for Food.

In the fall, Wolfe plans to attend Washington School of Nursing.
