Dancing for a Cause
Watchful Shepherd USA and Arthur Murray Dance Studios present Dancing for a Cause at 6 p.m. Friday at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe.
Local celebrities, hometown heroes and concerned citizens will gather to raise funds to help fight child abuse. All proceeds benefit Watchful Shepherd USA, a nonprofit child abuse prevention program.
In addition to dinner, the main event is the dancing, which features celebrities teaming up with professional dance instructors from the Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
The competition, which begins at 7:30 p.m, will feature Jason Capps, Jennifer Scott, Dina Clark, Ann Lewis-Hamer, Ronald Arnoni, Beau Berman, Ryan Saxe and State Sen. Camera Bartolotta.

‘The Crucible’
Little Lake Theatre Company presents “The Crucible,” running at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and Nov. 9-11 and 16-18.
In the production, by Arthur Miller, Salem, Mass., is ablaze with accusations of witchcraft after a group of young girls are found dancing in the woods.

Homes showcased for fundraiser
The Watchful Shepherd presents a Holiday Home Tour from 1 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 3.
The event will showcase preferred homes of Peters Township and proceeds will benefit Watchful Shepherd USA, a child/family abuse prevention program.
Tickets may be purchased for $25 through November in area businesses, including David’s Limited, Washington; the Colorful Rooster, Southpointe; Miller’s Ace Hardware, the Cob Collection and Arabesque, Peters Township; Malone Flower Shop, Canonsburg; Keller Williams Realty and Miller’s Ace Hardware, Bethel Park; and Today’s Tiffany Lamp Company, Galleria Mall, Mt. Lebanon.
