J. Paul and Darlene Kay Clarke will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarke were married September 15, 1967, in Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, with the Rev. George Clarke, father of the groom, officiating.

The couple have a daughter, Lesa Kay (Dave) Franz of Prosperity.

Their grandchildren are John and Julia Franz.

The couple both worked at Drakenfeld, where they met.

Mr. Clarke retired from Ferro, and Mrs. Clarke retired as a seamstress from Bridal Showcase.

Both enjoy golf, traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.
