Valley hospital plans breast cancer walk
The 14th annual Monongahela Valley Hospital Lois Orange Ducoeur Breast Cancer Walk will begin at 10 a.m. Oct. 14 at Charleroi Market House, 423 McKean Ave.
The walk supports the prevention, early detection and treatment of breast cancer at the hospital.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. the day of the event, or register early at http://bit.ly/mvhbcw17. A $10 minimum donation is suggested for anyone older than 6.
The first 300 walkers who raise or donate a minimum of $25 will receive a commemorative bag. The first 400 participants will receive a goody bag and a pink power towel.
