In November, Southern Style on Fifth Avenue donated a 7.5-foot fully decorated Christmas tree to the David Bradford House in Washington. The tree was raffled off to raise money for the museum. Southern Style on Fifth Avenue delivered the tree, set it up in the front parlor, and adorned it with decorations similar to those used in the early 1950s. The last known public use of the front parlor was in 1953. At that time, Christmas trees were sold out of the parlor. Southern Style on Fifth Avenue is a local family business, owned and operated by the Ruffing family. Pictured from left are: Lauren Ruffing, Debra and John Ruffing, and Karina Kowalczyk.
