Walker – 100 years
Dorothy Walker of McDonald will celebrate her 100th birthday with a luncheon with family and friends at the Mt. Pleasant Community Center on Saturday, March 24.
She was born March 20, 1918, in Muse.
Her husband is the late Wilbert H. Walker, whom she married on May 30, 1942.
She has four children, Joyce Ewing (Donald) of Bethel Park, Linda Smith of Pleasant Hills, Janet Okarma (Jack) of Hickory and Dennis Walker (Diana) of Hickory.
Her grandchildren are Carol Cowser, Amy Ewing, Jennifer Marnell, Melinda Yeager and Kristina Stockton. She has seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Walker enjoys listening to books, eating popcorn, having an occasional glass of wine, and going for walks when the weather permits.
