The Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club has recently named Annaliese Herod as the organization’s January Girl of the Month. The recipient of this award is a senior at Carmichaels Area Jr/Sr High School. Annaliese Herod is the daughter of Jeremy and Polly Herod. She is a member of the band, National Honor Society, Students in Action, debate team, Academic League, Spanish club, newspaper club, drama club and the history committee. Herrod also works part-time at Curtis Pharmacy in Carmichaels and enjoys playing the ukulele, playing video games and taking care of her corgi, Augustus. She plans to attend West Virginia University in the fall and major in pharmacy.
