Officials at the Mt. Lebanon hospital put that edict in effect Sunday, in an attempt to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus among patients, staff and other visitors.

Exceptions will be determined case by case by a patient’s clinical care team. Permitted visitors will be screened for cough, fever, difficulty of breathing or contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
