Old Economy Village continues Christmas at the Village
Old Econony Village in Ambridge will host its traditional holdiay event, Christmas at the Village, from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Christmas at the Village is one of the few times the venue is open to the public at night. Traveling in a horse-drawn wagon from the Visitors Center, guests will experience a 19th century village with many specialty shops. Local choirs will be performing on the second floor in the Feast Hall. Children’s activities are located throughout the village. The Pennsylvania Dutch Santa Claus, known as Belsnickel, will be in the Granary checking his book to see if the children were naughty or nice this year.
Tickets may be purchased the day of the event at the Visitor’s Center. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children 3 to 11. For more information, call 724-266-4500 or visit www.oldeconomyvillage.org.
