Deadline approaches for WSO competition

The deadline for seventh- through 12th-graders in Washington County to apply to enter the Washington Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition is Thursday.

Applicants will compete Dec. 12, and the winner will play with the Washington Symphony Orchestra during its Feb. 9 concert and receive a $500 cash prize.
