The fourth annual Wreath Auction sponsored by the California Area Historical Society and the California Area School District Foundation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Gallagher House, 429 Wood St., California. Adornments featured on the wreaths include certificates for beverage distributors; musical, theatrical and sporting events; and area restaurants. Participants can place final bids on the wreaths, and there will be appetizers, cookie table, door prizes and a basket of cheer. The $10 admission ticket is payable at the door, or tickets can be purchased in advance at the historical society. For more information, call the society at 724-938-3250.
