The Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a donation of a large, live pine tree by Nov. 12 for the annual tree-lighting ceremony and library children’s holiday party on Dec. 2 . Anyone interested in donating a pine tree should contact Becky Goodwin-Sopko, recreation secretary, at 724-942-5000 or recreationsecretary@peterstownship.com.
