Uniontown Salvation Army’s seventh annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9 a.m. Thanksgiving morning. Registration and packet pickup will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. the day before, and race-day registration begins at 7:15 am. at the Uniontown Salvation Army Corps building, 32 W. Fayette St. Awards will be given to the top five overall male and female runners/walkers, plus the top three male and female runners/walkers in 13 age categories. Participants are eligible for up to $200 worth of gas and food cards. A special half-mile Mini-Gobbler Trot for 2- to 11-year-olds begins at 8:20 a.m. Each participant will receive an award.
