The Service League of Morgantown will hold its annual holiday open house from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10 and noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 11 at historic Old Stone House Gift Shop, 313 Chestnut St., Morgantown, W.Va. There will be complementary spiced tea, food samples and homemade cookies with holiday gifts, ornaments, food and handcrafted items. All proceeds will benefit residents of Monongalia County, and 10 percent of the shop’s sales will be shared with its charity partner. Built in 1795, the house is the county’s oldest stone dwelling and is listed on the National Historic Registry. In its 77 years of existence, the service league has contributed more than $328,000 to the Morgantown community.
