NEW YORK (AP) – The Harry Potter play parody “Potted Potter” is magically returning to New York City.

Producers said Wednesday that off-Broadway’s Little Shubert Theatre will once again house the 70-minute parody of the entire book series starting May 30. It will leave Sept. 1.

Written and performed by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the play made a stop in New York last summer and has played to thousands in the United Kingdom, America, Australia and Canada.

The show, which bills itself as “The Unauthorized Harry Experience” is a fast-paced, tongue-firmly-planted-in-cheek romp through J.K. Rowling’s seven books about the boy wizard and his adventures. There’s even some audience participation in the form of an attempt at a game of Quidditch, the popular sport in Harry’s wizarding world.
