‘My Loyal Friend’

My friend is my dog,
She is loyal and true.
She’ll be my friend
Till time is through.
She makes me laugh
When she chases a cat.
She slams into the door
And makes a big SPLAT!
After a long, busy day
At school or day care,
When I walk through the door
She’s always there.
She makes me feel as special
As a royal king.
I would never trade her
For anything!
