Carnegie hosts laser shows

Lasers of Oz will kick off the Carnegie Science Center’s laser shows Friday and Saturday.

Visitors will experience the music of “The Wizard of Oz” in a live laser light show, which will feature brilliant colors, animation and three-dimensional effects at the Buhl Planetarium.

The evenings also will feature a range of musical styles. The lineup includes:

• The Lasers of Oz, 7 p.m.

• Bob Marley, 8 p.m.

• No Doubt, 9 p.m.

• Nirvana, 10 p.m.

• SkrillStep, 11 p.m.

• Pink Floyd, midnight.

Lasers of Oz also will be held at 3 p.m. daily through April, with Bob Marley as an additional matinee at 1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Admission is $2 for members and $8 for nonmembers. A second laser show or Omnimax ticket can be purchased for an additional $5. Visit at www.CarnegieScienceCenter.org.
