Stew & The Negro Problem revisit songs from “Passing Strange,” the Broadway hit theater production that went on to become a Tony Award winner, at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh.

A contemporary musical journey, “Passing Strange” tells the story of a young bohemian who charts a course for “the real” through sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll. The story travels from black, middle-class America to Amsterdam, Berlin and beyond.
