Jefferson Township Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in the White Church Building, Eldersville, across the street from Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department. Dr. Bonnie Reese, curator of Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, will be guest speaker. She will present “Preserving Life’s Journey.” Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
Golden Triangle Decorative Painters will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday at a new location, the Finleyville Community Center, 3547 Marion Ave. In addition, Rosann Wagner will conduct a class on “Painting Santa” at 9 a.m. Saturday and “Watercolor Santa” at 9 a.m. Sunday. Essential Oils in Everyday Cooking will be presented by Ruthi Bosco, co-author of “Everyday Cooking with Essential Oils,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Township Library. Bosco will prepare food samples using Wild Orange and Basil Essential oils. All participants will receive a sample of the Wild Orange Essential Oil, and copies of the book will be available for purchase after the program. Martha Washington Quilt Guild will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St., third floor, Washington.
