Nemacolin Castle hosts festival

Nemacolin Castle in Brownsville will host a Summer Festival Friday through Sunday.

There will be food, entertainment and craft vendors each day, plus Colonial and Civil War encampments Saturday and Sunday.

History tours will be provided from noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Ghost tours will be conducted from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Entertainment will include:

• DJ Ted Knisley, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday;

• Acoustic guitarist Fred Adams, 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday;

• Outpost band, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

All tours are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger.
