Science center, Phipps host Butterfly Weekend

Carnegie Science Center and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are teaming up to host Butterfly Weekend Saturday and Sunday.
The event will give visitors a chance to learn about the life cycle of butterflies and discover why these insects have a remarkable ability to navigate, orient, and migrate. The Science Center will provide hands-on activities and science demos from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Phipps will host butterfly tours and discovery stations from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
