The Beth-Center Senior Center, 316 Station St., Vestaburg, is hosting many new activities in November and December.

A Thanksgiving lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Suggested donation is $2 per guest. Lunch will be followed by 20 games of bingo, including a half the take and specials.

Homemade soup night will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday. Homemade chicken noodle soup with kluski noodles will be served. Bingo with door prizes and cash awards will be played afterward. Reservations are required by Wednesday by calling the center at 724-377-0000.

A candy-making project will be held the first week of December, with candy orders available for pick-up Dec. 11 at the center. Order forms are available at the center and feature a large variety of candies handmade by members of the center. Varieties include chocolate-covered marshmallows, raisins, peanuts, cashews, pretzel clusters and buckeyes. Mixed plates are also available.

All candy orders and payment are due by Dec. 2. Individuals can stop by the center from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to complete an order.

Christmas lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 11.

A $100 scratch-off ticket wreath is being auctioned. Chances are $1 each. The tickets adorn an artificial Christmas wreath with Christmas ornaments and ribbon. The winning ticket will be chosen after the Christmas lunch.
