Roast beef dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Donation is $12 for adults and $6 for children 2 to 10 years old. Reservations are required. Call Ruth at 724-222-2783.

Ladies of the Elks, Lodge 776, 138 E. Maiden St., Washington, will hold its fall chicken-and-biscuit dinner from 11:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Donation is $7, and tickets can be purchased at the door.
