Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.
WOMEN of Southwestern Pennsylvania Inc. will host “An Evening with Jonathan Gottschall – The Storytelling Animal: How Stories Make Us Human” Saturday. at Bella Sera Event Venue, 414 Morganza Road, Cecil. Cocktails will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30. Gottschall is an English professor at Washington & Jefferson College. Reservations are required.
