CLEVELAND (AP) — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland is welcoming 2012 inductee Donovan, a folksy British singer-songwriter once labeled as “the new Dylan.”
The rock hall was scheduled to host Donovan on Tuesday evening as part of its Hall of Fame interview series.
Donovan was to be interviewed by rock hall education vice president Lauren Onkey and take questions from the audience.
Donovan scored a string of hits in the 1960s with “Sunshine Superman,” “Mellow Yellow” and “Hurdy Gurdy Man.”
Donovan was inducted by fellow Hall of Famer John Mellencamp, who said he was in seventh grade when he bought his first Donovan record in 1965.
