Compulsive Eaters Anonymous is a 12-step program for those who suffer with food addiction and overeating. They identify with the principles of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, including the first step in which those with a food addiction admit they are powerless. But instead of using alcohol in their admission, they substitute compulsive eating.
The “Before and After” workshops will be presented by four people who have found recovery through the 12-step program.
Beverages will be served, and those who attend are welcome to bring a bag lunch.
CEA-HOW is a nonprofit group for anyone who has a problem with food.
