Ramp festival at Mason-Dixon Park

The Mason-Dixon Ramp Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Mason-Dixon Park.

On Saturday, music on the cabin stage will include Matt Sherman, 11 a.m.; Pastor Al Flaitz, 1 p.m.; Roger Cutright, 2 p.m.; Heartbeat, 3 p.m.; and Get R Done, 4 p.m. On Sunday, entertainment will include Nic a Time, 11 a.m.; Matt Sherman, noon; Country Pride, 1 p.m.; Cutright, 2 p.m.; Granny Blosser, 3 p.m.; and Al Anderson, 4 p.m.

An outdoor church service will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Food will include biscuits and gravy, beer-battered deep-fried ramps, ramp burgers, fried potatoes and ramps, hoopie hash, ramp potato soup, ramp salad, beans and cornbread, pies, funnel cakes, doughnuts and fudge.

There also will be a ramp wine tasting, crafts, chainsaw carver, a camper ramp rally, 50/50 drawings and raffles.
