Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, 2230 Washington Road, Canonsburg, will host Family Night with a movie on the lawn at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Free hot dogs, hamburgers and popcorn will be available. The movie starts at dusk.

Penn State Master Gardeners will lead a walking tour through 20 gardens at 9 a.m. Aug. 23 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Admission is free. Meet at the blue garden shed in the parking lot and wear comfortable shoes.

Raccoon Creek State Park, Hookstown, will offer a moss walk from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 23 at the Wildflower Reserve Interpretive Center on Route 30. A good magnifying glass is suggested for the one-mile hike.

Central Blood Bank will conduct a blood drive at Peters Township Public Library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 27. All donors will receive two Pittsburgh Pirates tickets.
