First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau St., Washington, will host an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Dinner includes spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, salad, Italian bread, drink and homemade dessert. Cost is $9 for adults and $5 for 4- to 12-year-olds. Children 3 and younger eat free. Takeout is available.
Genealogy Society of Southwestern Pennsylvania will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday at Citizens Library, 55 S. College St., Washington. Elissa Scalise Powell, who has been a Western Pennsylvania researcher for more than 20 years, will speak.
Pastor Lureta Logan is sponsoring a women’s conference for those 15 and older called “Attenion: Arm Yourselves!” at 1 p.m. Sept. 13 and 14 at the Greater Bethlehem Temple, 404 Paulson Ave., Pittsburgh.
Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Catalyst Connection will host the General Industries Breakfast Briefing from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Sept. 19 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe. Friends of Bentleyville Public Library are selling “Don’t Cook For a Week” tickets. A ticket includes eight gift cards worth $25 each for Bob Evans, Max & Erma’s, Olive Garden, Outback Steak House, Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, T.G.I Fridays and Giant Eagle. The ticket plays on the evening drawing of the Sept. 30 Pennsylvania Lottery. There are two numbers on each ticket. Tickets are $2 each. Call the library at 724-239-5122 for more information.
